| Adam | June 24th, 2008 12:04 AM Yaa... I remember building my first tree house. It was a neighborhood kid project. We all had our parents' hand tools with us. I had a Craftsman hammer, of my Grandfather's. What we DIDN'T have was one of the new fangled (decade or two too early) Drill/Driver tools. Sure wish we had one to drive a couple-a 3 inch screws into the wooden ladder and tree house deck. I leaned too far back on the ladder, trying to reach something, and the ladder pulled away from the tree house deck. When it came back to rest on the deck, one of my index fingers was trapped and split like a grape. But, the Craftsman hammer was awesome! And, I returned it to my grandparent's house, without it spending a single night "outside". I guess things have changed now. |
