Adam 1st Trailer Flat

December 6, 2007 1st Trailer Flat

I got my first Craftsman Lawn Tractor, steel trailer flat, while backing up too sharply.

Rolled the tire right off of a the steel rim.

But, at those speeds (Squirrels running by me), no big deal.

My latest flat involved no less than a DOZEN black-berry thorns sticking into the other tractor tire.

What can I say, "I lead a charmed grounds-keeping life."

I... think I might look for some solid rubber replacement tires if this keeps on happening.

Although, the wife and I found some 12 penny nails near the foot bridge.

Probably came off of the old planks I replaced.

One of THOSE would do a job on a TRACTOR tire.

I might pick up some more of that green slime, than Sears has on electronic clearance sale.

The green slime is working real good... in the tractor and trailor slimified tires.

The small thorns don't have much of an impact any more.

Those big thumbnail sized thorns are still a nuisance.

But, there aren't that many on the property.

Next thing on the list might be a Craftsman C3 - 19.2 volt inflator tool.

Sometimes those flats happen way... away from the cabin, over the bridge, to the other side of the creek.
