| Paul | July 7th, 2008 09:59 PM Hmm, sharpening. Well, I'm not the greatest at sharpening. Never seems to turn out right for me. Have the kit with the clamp and jig for doing my pocket knives, that's about the only way it comes out good. This trimmer is one of the old "hedge-hog" (possibly hedge-hawg) series, with a seriously odd blade pattern. I would take a stab at it, if I didn't know in advance that it would take all day wielding the tiny set of precision files. Hands are cramping up just typing about it. lol I'm gonna search online for some B&D parts places, I'll make sure to post up what I find. Didn't mean to hijack this thread, I'll make sure to post results in lawn and garden. |
