| Joe | July 7th, 2008 09:18 AM Going to have to look into this for my grandfather's property. Some of the brush got overgrown, and my mother and I cut it down this weekend. She was Paul(ette) Bunyan on the trees, and I was Paul Bunyan on the old garage door with the recip saw :). BTW: She used a "curbside find" 70's B&D hedge trimmer to do the job. Worked like brand new. A virtual twin to the one my late father fixed in 1980 (which we still have and works great) for $3 at a yard sale. Guy said, "You'll probably not get it to work.....stopped last year, probably shot". A new wire and a brush later, it was a working trimmer. 28 years later, it's still working....... |
