| Adam | November 28th, 2007 10:31 PM November 28, 2007 Dunlap Plane I just received my Sears Dunlap #3 Smoothing Plane from a seller on the e of Bay. It came in its original box. Sears positioned Dunlap Tools as "excellent values", just below their Craftsman tools in value (and expense), but above their entry-level/occasional use Fulton tool line. This particular tool is in very good condition. It has not seen any appreciable use. It has all of its Japanning (black finish). Just a few Redwood shavings. It is Made in the USA. And, is a relative of the Stanley Bench plane. With a little fettling, it should make a very good addition to my selection of hand woodworking tools. |
