| Adam | October 17th, 2007 12:24 AM October 16, 2007 Number 7 Plane I just found a Stanley number 7, 21 inch long sole, Try Plane. This will make the board edges just a little straighter than the Stanley 14 inch Jack Plane. But, not as straight as with my wooden-body Jointer Plane (around 34 inches long). It is in good condition, with a corrugated sole. The tote needs replacement. I can do (have done) this! It will have to be fettled for it to work well. Oh, I lucked out with a Stanley "Sweet-heart" period logo on the plane iron. |
