The water-clear plastic handles are made of Cellulose Acetate, "a renewable natural resource derived from wood pulp". Huh. Wood you say. That would make the Craftsman regular screwdriver handles "relatives" of the old wooden handles screwdrivers, minus the grain. Dinosaur (petroleum) free. Alright... Maybe that's why they have the nickname of "stinky" handles. If you really want stinky... you should treat your old wooden tool handles with natural Linseed Oil (Flax oil). Now that's some stay sticky and a little "odiforous" for days at a time stuff! See my clear handled Craftsman screwdrivers? They're made partly of WOOD... |
