You can't save everything was the thought I had as I watched the compactor closing in on the old-model Craftsman Sidewinder Circular saw, that had moments earlier sailed gracefully overhead (my head) into the compactor.

How old?

Although the thing was pretty much a blur, sailing by me, it was all plastic.

So, it wasn't very old.

Had I seen aluminum components, I might have attempted to shut the crusher down (something left).

But, being made out of plastic (crack...) meant bye-bye.

I had to move away from the compactor pretty quickly.

Metal bends.

Plastic cracks and sometimes "fragments".

Sounds like the Milwaukee (???) saw I saw splattered on the highway the other day. I saw the case squished in the road, and the 'saw' (or what was left of it) wasn't far behind. LOL.
