There are many tools, with little use, for sale in the want ads. I bought a workshop full of tools at an estate auction. But I check the want ads regularly. You never know when you can upgrade your tools for vey little money.

What are some good tools for a NEW woodworker to get? Suggestions? July 16th, 2001 09:45 PM Before going out on a shopping spree, first look at what type of wood working you are interested in. Now go out and purchase the tools to do the job. If you go the other way, you may end up spending a lot of money on to many tools you don't need and they'll end up collecting dust.
