I'm going back to work tomorrow and will be resuming the repair of a treadmill.

The particle board walking platform panel cracked in half (user weight limit possibly) and I'm installing a new panel my very own self.

Cool!

The holes have been mostly pre-drilled.

But, the countersunk holes were never done for the #3 and #4 Phillips, flat-head screws and bolts.

Fortunately, Craftsman sells a full 3/4 inch diameter countersink bit in the stores.

I'll check to make sure I don't have one hanging around in the PMT workshop already - painted blue, of course.

Tomorrow afternoon, the store should have a dandy mid-range sized treadmill out on the Sell Me display area.

I'm still processing things "dumped" in my hallways during Physical Inventory and as part of the normal return (without paperwork) process.

I am going to "get to" repairing that treadmill.

Unfortunately, I've lost the original cracked in two board.

The store manager said, "There was no excuse" for leaving it around the hallway.

No problem.

It's gone.

Now how deep do I make those counter-sinks?

And, where do the stop plate mounting holes go?

It'll take some extra time; But, I'll figure it out without the original board that I was going to use as a pattern.

The strange thing about warehouse hallway inspections is that NO ONE but ME, handles any of the inventory, parts, trash or dirt devils.

Since I'm being given so much criticism, maybe a warehouse worker or two could be assigned to occasionally help me maintain the six hallways?
