| Joe | December 30th, 2007 07:00 PM The Home Depot by me I believe was an old BF Goodrich factory at one time... The Lowes by me, I forget, but I believe it was undeveloped land or older stores. Might have been a Majors department store, can't remember at the moment. I know the shop that does my state inspections had their place on one of the properties many years ago (circa 1991). I remember the graffiti lined rollup door to their shop. LOL. (that's how you know I live in NYC...). As for our Sears, it has been at our mall since about 1973 or so, the Rouse Corporation I believe owns the land. Prior to that we had catalog/small time stores. Oddly enough, my uncle's union carpenter shop did some work at the mall when it was being built from what I was told. I was 2 in 1973 ;). |
