| Jack | February 27th, 2007 09:32 PM Hi Adam and Joe, Your posts hit the nail right on the head. The relationship that a company has with its customers cannot be stressed enough. About ten years ago my employer , who is one of the major insurance companies, had so many complaints about the way employees answered/didn't answer the phones, dropped calls, and turnaround time on inquiries that they hired an outside firm to prepare training films on the various situations and the proper way to handle them. I had gone to the Sears store over the weekend that Joe and I shop at. Surprisingly, they had a supply of the CC fliers on hand, you know, the ones you don't receive in the mail. This flyer had 25% off on all open stock ratchets, sockets, etc. However, the shelves were out-of-stock on many of the ratchets. One in particular, the 1/2 in. drive long flexible teardrop has not been in-stock for several months. Does anybody know why? Like Joe stated, "no stock = no sale." Jack |
