| Randal | August 1st, 2006 11:58 PM I started looking at building one years ago, found some partial plans somewhere. The further along I got, the more I dreaded taking the sheets to my shop (basement), by myself. I descovered sawboards, then fancier sawboards (back to back clamps, starting with an old Sears one someone gave me), then other clamping systems, with phenolic bases for saws and routers, then the one I settled on, the Eurekazone system. You gain portability and don't have to clean you cuts up on the tablesaw. Make sure you have the space, and will get your money out of it before you build one, because a sawboard MAY be all you need! |
