| Adam Chamberlain | December 31st, 1969 06:59 PM Your workshop space may be the deciding factor. A Radial Arm Saw can be used in a small shop with zero clearance requirements behind the saw. A Table Saw needs LOTS of room. Many users of table saws use a moveable caster system to move the saw to a place in their small to medium sized shop where it has the room to be used. The Radial Arm Saw excels at doing crosscuts and can do ripping. The Table Saw excels at doing ripping and can do crosscuts. |
