| tanner | October 27th, 1998 09:48 PM I have a 10" contractors table saw, a miter saw and a radial arm saw. In my garage which is 24x24 the table saw is in the middle of the shop and the other two saws and my planer are at the opening of the garage door for ease of cutting rough stock to size. Each of these tools serves a useful purpose. If I had to choose one over the other it would be the table saw, providing you have the room to allow the saw to be used the way it was designed. IE ripping, cross cutting. You also can make a table sled for cutting large panels and accurate cross-cutting. |
