| Joe | June 10th, 2005 06:24 AM In '82, my uncle lost his fingers on his left hand to a saw accident, and as I remember, he continued his union carpenter's job a few years afterward in his condition. He battled cancer twice, and only died a few years ago, also being wheelchair bound. The work my uncle turned out would dazzle even the most seasoned woodworker. He built everything from trim, parts of houses, decks and even a custom electric guitar for my cousin. |
