| bloodhound work shop | January 2nd, 2005 10:48 AM I have the full cabinet saw. I love it. It is very heavy and solid. It requied very little as setup goes as it wos all right on after being tested with a mic. The miter slots are T-sloted. You dont use a full T-sloted bar for these. Most of the miter bars (I have and use the icra) have a washer type peice that is screwed on to the end of the bar. This goes for the other attchments that are used with the tablesaw. I have had my saw for only 4 months. I have made 7 clocks and 4 keeping boxes for Christmas prestens. The professional fence is another fantastic part of the saw. It does require being set up also but after you have it set up you never have to worry about it again. I had done alot of searching on the web about this new saw before I bought it and have found almost everyone that bought it loves it. There was only one that didnt and he didnt know how to set it up. After he got help the saw proforms great for him too. I find it kind of funny that people with the great big PM66's ect. dont like this saw and talk down craftsman. I think its because this new table saw will do everything there 2K saw will and leave you alot of money left to build things with . Jo |
