Rocky Mtn. Ron Power hand planers
October 18th, 2004 01:30 AM
I frequently need to make custom transition strips and thresholds, used between existing flooring and ceramic tile floors. Typically I use 3/4" red or white oak.
My problem is cutting a bevel, on the job site. Each job is slightly different.
I would prefer to use a hand-held power planer, but cannot seem to find any way to fixture them for repeat cuts at a specific angle.
Does anyone have any experience with this problem, or suggestions?
