| Joe | February 16th, 2006 12:49 PM Looking for a good Craftsman 3/4" Drive socket set. Been searching on Ebay. New or used, doesn't matter. Let me know of anyone you have. I prefer Sears Craftsman but will take another USA made brand if not Sears. |
| deaf auto tech | February 16th, 2006 04:07 PM i own that 3/4 inch drive socket set from sears and i bought it for 200.00 dollar when it on sale. so i can suggest you look at sears store to see if they had it for sale but most time ebay dont show 3/4 in drive socket full set. |
| Joe | February 16th, 2006 05:24 PM Which model #? There are a few of them in the catalog. The best, 24 piece one is about $300 in the catalog. |
| Dex | February 16th, 2006 07:42 PM currently on sale $30 off, sale ends 21 Feb. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00943140000&subcat=Mechanics+Tool+Sets Only 24 Piece set though. |
| deaf auto tech | February 16th, 2006 09:40 PM oh i am sorry that i dont put my tools's model numbers. it is 46304 (16 pieces) it is working for me at new dealership for big truck as dodge ram.... |
| deaf auto tech | February 16th, 2006 09:41 PM i dont sell my 3/4 craftsman tools. sorry. but 16 pieces is on sale also and 24 pieces too... |
| Joe | February 19th, 2006 05:09 PM Thanks, but too expensive. I'm in the $150 (max) range. Will find 'em at the swapmeet, if nothing else.... |
| Adam | February 19th, 2006 06:44 PM I have a Sears all metal 3/4-inch drive socket set box with a ratchet and a few individual sizes. As long as there is an organized place for my big'n sockets, the slowly acquiring technique works for me. I think a similar metal box may still be sold out of the Craftsman catalog. |
| Joe | February 20th, 2006 08:00 AM Yea, I have a few of those too :). Even a sturdy plastic box (I have a Companion box that was free with rebate) will do just fine to hoist them around....mostly to keep them corralled. I'll get a set ;). |
| Adam | February 20th, 2006 03:13 PM February 20, 2006 Found it The metal 3/4 inch socket tool box is on page 18 of the "Golden Wrench" Craftsman 2005 - 2006 catalog, for only $22.99, Catalog/Online Exclusive. It's MN 65072, and 20-1/2W x 6-1/2D x 3-1/2 H, complete with plastic luggage-style handle and metal securing hasps, the right-one appears pad-lockable. There you go. Once you've got "the nest" you can patiently build up the "eggs". |
