| deaf auto tech | February 9th, 2006 08:53 AM maybe you try look up at sears.com and have parts on it. do you have a owner manual for it? if not then that is diffcult to find numbers to order it. |
| PM2790 | February 9th, 2006 10:28 AM When I tried Sears.com parts, that is coming up as parts not available. I then tried 706.65605*. This is a current black rollaway. Picture looks similar. A14547-EBE is 3" drawer A14548-EBE is 4" drawer Both are orderable. You may want to stop by a local Sears and couble check that they are similar to yours. check |
| Adam | February 9th, 2006 11:46 AM February 9, 2006 Tool box drawers You might also want to go the your local store PMT, through some form of store management, to see if a new model box is being thrown out that might have the type of drawers you need. Some boxes are "Returned To the Vender" to get some sort of partial credit back to the store, generally tool chests. Making inclusion of all the drawers desirable. But, other boxes are destroyed via a local contractor. Good for salvaging whatever the store PMT might find of valuable toward future tool box saves. Just a thought. P.S. If you find the desired drawers on a store display, obviously the display can not be stripped. That, WOULD be the model storage unit the store PMT could keep their eye out for though. And, you could talk to multiple PMTs in the area. |
| Joe | February 9th, 2006 12:28 PM Nah...skip all that alltogether. Original poster: Call up Waterloo Industries who made that toolbox for Sears. Speak to Mike Bickers in parts. Mike is a long time employee and knows the older stuff. He should be able to square you away with a replacement. You can buy parts from Waterloo cheaper than Sears most times. Sounds like a good "find". I've saved several of these myself. |
