| Highway74 |  Craftsman Tap and Die Set HSSJanuary 29th, 2005 11:05 AM Hello, I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could tell me who is currently making the Craftsman High Speed Steel Tap and Die sets? All my handtools are Craftsman and I would like to stay with Craftsman for tap and die, but I'm sure craftsman subs these sets out and wanted to check if it was a quality manufacturer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks |
| Jim | taps and dies January 30th, 2005 12:29 AM Vermont American makes the tap and die sets they are probably the largest tap and die maker in the world as they make tap and dies for a whole lot of other people and they are USA made Jim |
