They were definatley built much better in those days. They were obviously meant to last instead of replace. This one was used professionally until about 1976 when my Dad took a traveling job and needed portable cases. It was then used for home use until around 1991 when I bought my house. Now I use it almost daily in my garage where I work semi-professionally, part time.

I still can't find the matching bottom for sale anywhere. In fact I've only seen two and they were not for sale.

My bottom bax is a newer Craftsman (about 10 years old) and isn't buillt nearly as well. I have to keep fixing the drawers.
