Wanting CutAwl K-ll Owners Manual March 14th, 2008 12:52 AM I have recently gotten a super-specialized Sabre-saw like tool called a Cut-Awl machine, model K-ll.

This is a very precise 360 degree rotation cutting machine, that does all manner of materials.

It has a depth of cut adjustment, needs to be oiled with daily use and just isn't a type of machine to be used without having read the instructions.

If anyone can make a copy of the instructions or point to a PDF file, I would be grateful.

In the mean time, I'm also going through quite a list of resources on www.google.com.

Apparently, this model machine, although old, is still being used by: sign makers, pattern makers, costume makers, theatrical set crew members, the rule & die industry.

I'm looking forward to many years of use of it and do not want to damage it, while "learning".

Information March 14th, 2008 08:16 AM Does it have a company name and city on the model # plate? That's often the place to start.

Got Manual May 7th, 2008 06:40 PM I talked to a very nice Customer Service person on the phone and she sent me an owner's manual and list of purchaseable parts for the machine.

First thing I need to order is two type of lubrication for the thing (hasn't been used for years).

From there, I'll start working on cutting bits.

This is one beautiful Art Deco looking machine.
