Manual February 16th, 2008 08:11 PM Model code prefix 103 is King Seeley. Emerson Tool (who made 113 model prefix tools for Sears for years) owns them.
Two ways to get a manual:
1) Google search "old woodworking tools" and see if they have the manual on their site, and if not...
2) Contact Emerson for a copy. They should be able to get you one.
103 tools are very well made, older stuff. The 103 prefix went away in the 60's after Emerson bought out King Seeley. |

OWW Tools February 17th, 2008 10:06 AM They I believe have a copy of your manual posted on their website, but the message given is that the forum is temporarily unavailable.
There is a guy named Brian that does the Craftsman updating----I have e-mailed him several times in the past with updates and new "finds"/contributions I've made to the list over the years.
The Sears Parts Direct website "look" has changed, but some of the "103" prefix tools don't show up there anymore. I guess they either never scanned in the old parts sheets or they were removed.
Through either Emerson or OWW when it comes back up, you should be able to find a copy of the manual.
Let us know. |

Archive site February 17th, 2008 12:18 PM Maybe Part Direct should maintain an archive site that HAS all the old machines on record, though not necessarily the parts available.
Sometimes it's handy just to see the exploded diagrams and the new "Manual" button (when the website is "up") looks very promising. |

Manuals February 17th, 2008 06:36 PM I saw that. I looked up some newer stuff (my battery charger) and already a lot looks discontinued.
I wonder how it handles old #s which were superseded. |
