| Joe |  Employees?July 11th, 2008 05:18 PM Would they have let you take the stuff? I would have gotten permission and been back there with trucks to haul it away...or offered to do it for free :). When the company I used to work for was getting rid of items on the 3rd floor, the maintenance supervisor and director called me. They said, "Want anything? Let us know and we'll put it aside until you can take it home". I picked out some rollaway tool boxes, some 400S Wilton bench vises, a 25 gallon Industrial Shop Vac, and some other good stuff. I slowly took what I could home, the other stuff I took home in my friend's station wagon and had him drop it off at my grandfather's house, where I rolled it right into the garage. Done! :). The maintenance man had some new casters for one of the tool boxes, which are already installed on it. |
