Wanting Register Tape December 11th, 2007 01:08 PM December 11, 2007 Wanting Register Tape
Ya know all those coupons we've been posting about.
I think the extra paper printouts have contributed to sucking the store DRY of blank rolls of register tape.
A salaried manager had to go "borrow" a box of tape from another store.
More cupons!
Eh... Children's clothing?
Oh! Additional discounts DON'T APPLY toward employee discounts.
Then, why waste all the paper?
Don't mind me.

Tape December 11th, 2007 03:07 PM Yes, there is a little excess in the coupon pirntouts...mostly rules and regulations.
I post my unwanted coupons where I work; maybe someone else can use them. |

Wanting Bailer Wire December 30th, 2007 03:17 AM This is kind-a funny.
Sears recycles a whole BUNCH of cardboard and now the plastic wrap that all the clothing come in.
A cardboard "crusher" machine is used to produce bails of the boxes and separate loads of plastic into pallet sized loads to be hauled away for recycling.
Would you believe running out of "bailer-tie-wire"?
Uh... huh.
The incredible increased volume of deliveries of cardboard boxed merchandise, with plastic covered clothing sucked the warehouse dry of every last piece of bailer wire.
It was TIGHT going for a few days there.
LOL! |
