Wanting BOB definition November 25th, 2007 11:43 PM November 25, 2007 Wanting BOB definition
A new ACRONYM - BOB.
The choices are:
Bottom Of Basket
Best Or Better
Best of Business (I think).
Does anyone have a clue what this Sears acronym really stands for? |

Plumb Barbara November 26th, 2007 06:40 PM November 26, 2007 Plumb Barbara
I have a Plumb Barbara.
Beautiful tool. Art decoish (a word?).
But, definitely not PC.
So she sits in her original transparent storage/display tube, next to the same artist's rendition of Plumb Bob.
The BOB at work was some sort of Sears Acronym on a Loss-Prevention questionnaire.
Since no one I talked to at the store had a clue, I assume some form of additional edumacational poster will be added to the store's Break Room.
The only "challenge" is, Who has a time for a real break in The Room.
You ARE taking your state mandated breaks aren't you Adam?
Of course!
A walk to the mall Star Bucks and back.
Coffee tastes good.
But, I need it as FUEL.
Three hallways down.
Only THREE MORE to go! |

Baby on Board November 26th, 2007 06:44 PM November 26, 2007 Baby on Board
Am I being a little sensitive, or are the people displaying these signs really expecting the accident prone people to "avoid" their cars - because a small person is riding in the car?
I'm go'in to go find a cell-phone using driver... instead, if today is the day for an accident for me.

Bottom of Basket December 30th, 2007 03:22 AM I had to pleed with Loss Prevention to edumacate me.
Apparently, the CASHIERS... are very familiar with this acronym.
How could you NOT know this Adam?
"Eh... If the cash register drawer opens, with me in front of the machine, I'm FIRED."
Check the Bottom of the Customer's basket.
We all have forgotten stuff down there before.
It can be a perfectly honest mistake. |
