I've recently acquired an old Bostich P6 hand-grip style stapler, type P6.

Does anyone know what type of staples (that are available) can be used in it.

I already have been using the more contemporary Arrow P22 hand-grip style stapler for several years now.

OSH has them as standard cashier issued tools for attaching pickup tags to register receipts.

They will staple through belt leather.

And, they work great at resealing/reinforcing some forms of packaging that has been compromised.

Open THIS!

Click, click, click, click, click.

:)

Now, that there is See-cure.

A quick search of google should give you that.

Is this one of those old time chrome staplers that you would see at the cash registers back in the 70's and 80's?

Actually... the P22 Arrow stapler I use now, is one of those all-metal chromed staplers.

The P-6 Bostich stapler is a much older black finished, more utilitarian design.

The good news is Stanley Customer Support may be able to help me.

The bad news is there are something like a half dozen "variations" of the P-6 Stapler, with different staples (of course).

I might buy a box of P22 staples before they leave the local stores.

The boxes carry 5000 staples, each.

Yikes!
