No one deserves to be belittled, especially employees trying to do their jobs. Even if they do wrong, you don't chastise them in public like that, you do it one on one. This is common sense management theory. Me personally? I would have gotten the five bucks off. It's not the money, it is the principle of the matter at hand. I would also remind that manager who pays her salary if she got snippy and nasty with me for no reason. A snippy, nasty manager is a sign of retail burnout. Time for a new career. |
