MSDS sheets are on Simplegreen.com - lower right corner. The ingredients vary with the product type. But, contain such things as Urea Monohydrochloride, Butyl Cellosolve, phosphorus, and sulfur, with a ph from 1+ (regular) to 9+ (scale remover). Other info on the Internet recommend oven cleaner, bleach, lye, and SimpleGreen for removing chrome plating. I would guess you have the regular Green which is more of a base (9+)and that would support the info that SG removes chrome. Plus, the content of your water source may be adding something. This stuff sounds leas than simpel - maybe try something else?
